The School of Education is the central undergraduate home for teacher education programs at Converse University.
Our professional education and liberal arts courses, along with practical experiences through internships and student teaching, prepare future educators, administrators, and researchers for careers in education.
Through curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and educational leadership. our candidates develop an understanding of the critical concepts and principles of their discipline. Our graduates are well-equipped to positively impact educational settings and contribute significantly to the broader educational landscape while practicing equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Whether you pursue a degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, Deaf and Hard of Hearing education, one of our special education majors, or a minor that allows you to teach high school, you will be invaluable to improving and enhancing life for your students and fellow citizens.
